  • Go to https://app.powerbi.com
  • Search for the UConn Space Application under “Apps”
  • Open the app to view dashboards and reports

  • Embedded Access
  • Open Microsoft Teams
  • Go to Apps, find and download Power BI
  • Select Power BI → Apps → Choose the UConn Space Application

 

UPDC Space Application Inludes

Space Management Dashboard: tool that provides real-time summaries and detailed reports to track, assess, and access space data.
Research Space Dashboard: tool to evaluate and visualize research space utilization. It provides real-time information into square footage allocation by department, principal investigator (PI), research function, and type.
Instructional Space Utilization Dashboard: tool to provide instructional space allocations, usage, seat utilization, space type, and occupancy across all scheduled courses.
Floor Plans: by assignment only.

Requests

  • For reports not included here, please contact space@uconn.edu.
  • Fill out a Floor Plan Request form when the following occurs:
    • Need PDF or CAD Floor Plans
  • Fill out a Space Update Notification form when the following is necessary:
    • Change in space use (example: office to classroom)
    • Change in assignment (from one department to another)
    • Vacating a space
  • Fill out a Space Request form when the following is necessary:
    • Need of additional space for new programs, hires, equipment, etc.
